Terms and Conditions of Arran Shores

Accidental damage

We understand that a certain amount of wear and tear is inevitable, and the occasional smashed glass or broken plate. For more serious damage to appliances, carpets, furniture, broken windows etc. it would be reasonable to expect to pay.

Booking age

The minimum age to book and to stay unaccompanied is 18 years. Bookings that do not adhere to this policy can be cancelled without refund.

Cancellation

We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover the cost of your holiday in the event of cancellation or travel disruption.

Cancellation or changes made by Arran Shores

If we need to allocate an alternative apartment or suite for operational reasons, we will refund you the difference if the new accommodation is priced at a lower rate than the rate you booked.

On the rare occasion that we may need to cancel a booking, you will be given a full refund, and we will do our utmost to find you alternative accommodation of a similar standard.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking which we believe is in breach of our terms and conditions.

If there is an obvious pricing error and an apartment or suite has been incorrectly priced, we reserve the right to cancel any such booking and will notify the guest of the error at the earliest opportunity.

Check-in/out times

Check in is from 4pm and check out by 11am.

Extra guests

The total number of people staying at a property must not exceed the number stated in the property description and booking confirmation. This is particularly important following the new Short Term Let Licensing regulations which came into force 1st Oct 2023.

Ferry disruption

We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover the cost of your holiday in the event of ferry cancellation or disruption.

Insurance

Please ensure that you have your own insurance policy in place as you will be liable for the cost of your stay in the event of cancellation.

Noise

We ask that you be considerate of fellow guests and our neighbours and limit noise after 11pm.

Parking

We have a private on-site carpark with one space per apartment. Cars and their contents are left at the guest’s own risk, and we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.

Parties

To ensure that all guests enjoy their holiday and to avoid upsetting our neighbours, we have a no party policy in place to keep noise to a minimum.

Smoking/vaping/illegal substances

Smoking, vaping and the possession and/or use of illegal substances are prohibited within the building and grounds of Arran Shores.
